HAAST

HAAST is a project made in collaboration with fellow student and friend Iris de Vries. We created a wearable installation to externalise the experience of stress and our own influence on the matter. With no one else around, the participant still hears footsteps growing and receding in intensity as a result of their own pattern by which they move around a room.

With nothing else around, do we finally learn to tune into ourselves and find the rhythm that works for us? How do we deal with stress in the modern world, when we still have to follow the tempo that our body sets for us in the end? How do you experience HAAST?
